BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University men's tennis took the doubles point with wins on courts one and two, in the best of three determiner, but ultimately fell to No. 10 Florida State University 6-1, on Saturday afternoon, in Tallahassee.

The Owls (2-2) and FSU (4-0) then moved into singles play, seeing No. 112 Kevin Huempfner square off against No. 12 Antoine Cornut-Chauvine of the Noles. Huempfner fell in straight sets as did FAU's Joao Graca, who faced No. 24 Youcef Rihane and Alvaro Fernandez Horta, who battled against FSU's No. 53 Jamie Connel.

The reigning Conference USA Player of the Week, Hunter Robbins, took his match to set three and a third-set tiebreaker, but lost 1-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).

The FSU contest is the first of 11 scheduled for the road. FAU will next travel to FGCU, on Wednesday, Jan. 25 for a 5 p.m. first serve.
