BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team opens the 2023 home slate this weekend, when FAU plays host to North Florida on Friday and Kansas State on Sunday.
The Owls opened the season on the road, earning a 4-3 win over Miami, in a match that was played at FGCU last Saturday, and are looking forward to this weekends' matchups. The FAU vs UNF contest promises to be a good one, with the all-time series tied at four. The Owls have defeated UNF (0-0) each of the last two outings, once at home and once on the road. FAU downed the Ospreys last season 5-2. Kansas State (0-0) will be making a return trip to Boca Raton after defeating FAU last season, 4-0, in the two teams only meeting.
The Owls' roster returns experience to the lineup and welcomes newcomers

Victoria Gomez O'Hayon and
Maya Shanok to the squad. The trio of
Martina Kudelova, who is just three singles matches away from being the program's all-time singles matches played leader,
Millie-Mae Matthews, and
