Members of the Florida Atlantic University baseball team have scattered across the east coast this summer to keep their games sharp. Listed below are some of the top highlights from week one. Sam Drumheller, St. Pete Tides (Florida Gulf Coast League)
Drumheller started the season opener for the Tides on Thursday. He tossed four shutout innings, allowing just one hit and one walk. He struck out five.

Dawson Ball, Wellington Colts (Collegiate League of the Palm Beaches)
Ball pitched three shutout innings on Friday night. He didn't allow a hit and recorded seven strikeouts.

Armando Albert, Strasburg Express (Valley Baseball League)
Albert went 2-for-4 with a double in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader. Through four games so far, he's 5-for-15 with three runs scored, three walks, and a stolen base.

Dom Presto, Palm Beach Diamond Ducks (South Florida Collegiate League)
Presto is 4-for-11 so far through five games. He picked up a double and an RBI in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader.

Jackson Ross, Keene Swamp Bats (New England Collegiate Baseball League)
Ross opened the summer with a 3-for-6 performance on Thursday. He homered twice and drove in six. He added two more RBI over the weekend, one in each game on Saturday and Sunday.

Joey Slattery, West Boca Snappers (South Florida Collegiate Baseball League)
Slattery is 6-for-14 for West Boca with at least one hit in four of the four of his first five games. He also has three steals.Â
