BOCA RATON, Fla. – The No. 10th-ranked Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team (19-8, 6-1 in Conference USA) defended Paradise by winning both of its matches on the final day of the FAU Paradise Invitational. FAU began the day with a 5-0 win over Saint Leo (19-10), as all five courts won their matches in straight sets. The Owls closed out the tournament with a 4-1 thrilling victory over Florida Gulf Coast, as FAU finished their home slate 8-0 this season. The two wins also elevates the Owls to 19 on the year, which is a regular season program record for most victories.

FAU took care of business quickly against Saint Leo, wrapping up the match in a little under 1.5 hours in the 5-0 sweep.

Moon/Svozilova completed the clean sweep on court two for the Owls this weekend with a 21-17, 21-19 straight-set win. Cangelosi/Jarman on court four won their first set, 21-16, but fell in the final two, 16-21, 13-15, as FGCU tied up the dual, 1-1. Brok/Morris won their first set 21-13, and although the pair trailed midway through the second set, they prevailed to win their match with a 21-15 second set victory. Jackson/Mignerey took care of business in their first set, 21-16, but were unable to take care of the match in straight sets, narrowly losing set two, 20-22. The pair was able to come back in set three, 15-12, to clinch the dual match for FAU. Austin/Honzovicova came back and fought hard to win their match on court three, 22-24, 21-19, 15-13.

- Jarman tallied her 13th win on court four today, which is tied for the fifth most on court four in a single season
- Cangelosi is fourth in school history in career wins with 62, while Moon is tied for the 10th with 40 and Austin follows with 39
- Mignerey is second in program history in season wins on court five with 14
- Austin/Honzovicova and are now tied with Moon/Svozilova for 12th in school history for most career wins with 16 each

The Owls will finish out the regular season in Miami next Friday, April 15 with matches against Tulane at 12:30 p.m. and FIU at 3 p.m. at the FIU Tournament.
