BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University baseball team (25-16) will face off with Florida Gulf Coast on Tuesday in the final midweek non-conference game of the season. The Owls are 19-8 in their home ballpark so far this season.

FAU is coming off a dramatic 5-4 win over Old Dominion on Sunday afternoon.
Tyler Burnham started and pitched six solid innings.
Dylan Goldstein hit a go-ahead three-run homer in the fifth inning and
Robert Wegielnik got the last nine outs to preserve the one-run victory. The win kept the Owls one game ahead of the Monarchs for fourth place in C-USA.
FGCU is coming off a sweep of Stetson over the weekend. Leading hitter Alejandro Figueredo went 5-for-5 with a home run, four RBI, and four runs scored in Sunday's 15-1 series finale victory. The junior has seven homers, 41 RBI, and a .395 average.
FGCU will start Daniel Batcher once again on the mound, as they did last Tuesday against the Owls. The redshirt sophomore pitched 5.2 shutout innings in the meeting in Fort Myers. The lefty earned his first career victory and improved his ERA to 4.32.

FGCU prevailed by a 5-1 final in last week's meeting in Fort Myers. The Owls were stymied offensively while the Eagles scored all of their runs in the fifth inning. Both teams finished with four hits.
