BOCA RATON, Fla. – Week 14 of the NFL season is in the books and eight former Florida Atlantic University football players saw action. Here's a rundown of how each performed during the 14th week of the 2022 NFL season (All game times listed below are Eastern):
 Active Owls (8) #51 Azeez Al-Shaair | LB | San Francisco 49ers
- Al-Shaair made his third-straight start for San Francisco as they crushed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a score of 35-7. In on 11 defensive snaps, his play of the day came late in the fourth quarter. With the ball slipping out of the Tampa Bay running back's hands on a fourth-and-one, it was Al-Shaair who recovered the fumble to record his first takeaway of the season. 49ers' Record: 9-4 Next Game: at Seattle – Thursday, 8:15 p.m. (Prime Video)
#88 Harrison Bryant | TE | Cleveland Browns
- Bryant saw limited action in the divisional matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, seeing the field for eight snaps on offense and four on special teams. He caught his one target on the day early in the third quarter, going for eight yards to set up a short third down for Cleveland. The Browns ultimately lost this one 23-10. Browns' Record: 5-8 Next Game: vs. Baltimore – Saturday, 4:30 p.m. (NFLN)
#91 Trey Hendrickson | DE | Cincinnati Bengals
- Hendrickson got revenge over fellow former Owl Bryant and the Cleveland Browns, taking the victory 23-10. He played 55 snaps, his most since the opening week of the 2022 season, and made one tackle. Unfortunately, Hendrickson's Sunday was cut short early in the fourth quarter due to a broken wrist. The injury is not expected to be season ending, and he is expected back soon to contribute to a playoff run. Bengals' Record: 9-4 Next Game: at Tampa Bay (and Walton) – Sunday, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)
 #1 Greg Joseph | K | Minnesota Vikings
- For the second week in a row, Joseph was perfect on kicks. He knocked in both extra point attempts and was good for a 41-yard field goal. The Vikings ultimately lost to their division rival Detroit Lions by a score of 34-23. Vikings' Record: 10-3 Next Game: vs. Indianapolis – Saturday, 1 p.m. (FOX)
#42 James Pierre | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
- Pittsburgh used Pierre on the defensive side of the ball for the third week in a row. He made three tackles in just 10 snaps, including two in his first series of the afternoon. Pierre also contributed on 33% of the snaps on special teams. While Pierre and the defense did their job, Pittsburgh came up just short to the rival Baltimore Ravens, losing 16-14. Steelers' Record: 5-8 Next Game: at Carolina – Sunday, 1 p.m. (CBS)
#26 Devin Singletary | RB | Buffalo Bills
- Another game, another start for "Motor." The Bills took on the division rival New York Jets looking to avenge their Week 9 loss as Singletary led the way for Buffalo's running backs with 29 snaps. He saw eight carries for 39 yards and caught one pass thrown his way for four. His best run came on the very first play of the fourth quarter, with Singletary breaking multiple tackles up the middle to put Buffalo across midfield. This helped set up a field goal to help put the game away. The Bills ultimately won by a score of 20-12. Bills' Record: 10-3 Next Game: vs. Miami – Saturday, 8:15 p.m. (NFLN)
#73 Brandon Walton | OT | Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Walton was blocking in Tampa Bay's offensive field goal unit on both snaps as they lost to Al-Shaair and San Francisco 35-7. Buccaneers' Record: 6-7 Next Game: vs. Cincinnati – Sunday, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)
#38 Zyon Gilbert | CB | New York Giants
- Needing reinforcements at cornerback against the division rival Philadelphia Eagles, the Giants elevated Gilbert off of the practice squad for the second week in a row. He played eight snaps on defense and saw an increased role on special teams, playing 35% of plays for that unit. Gilbert was flying everywhere, making four tackles on kickoff and punt coverage. In his few chances on defense, he made the most out of it. Playing from the slot early in the fourth quarter, Gilbert took down Eagles QB Jalen Hurts on a blitz to record the first sack of his career. While Gilbert continued to show strides, the Giants were bested by the Birds, losing to Philadelphia by a score of 34-22. Giants' Record: 7-5-1 Next Game: at Washington – Sunday, 8:20 p.m. (NBC)
Practice Squad (4) #98 Brandin Bryant | DT | Houston Texans #92 Trevon Coley | DE | Chicago Bears #29 Herb Miller | CB | Cleveland Browns #80 Zaire Mitchell-Paden | TE | Cleveland Browns
