BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic volleyball (13-11, 3-9 C-USA) will close out its 2022 home slate on Sunday as the Owls host the Charlotte 49ers (9-14, 3-8 C-USA) for senior day at 12 p.m. inside FAU Arena.

Lauryn Green,
Camryn Vogler,
Stephanie Young and
Vanda Zimova, prior to Sunday's first serve.
- The Owls hold a 13-11 overall record and a 3-9 record in C-USA play entering Sunday's contest.
- Head coach Fernanda Nelson is in her 11th season leading the Owls and has amassed a 152-137 record throughout her time in Boca Raton.
- As a team, the Owls lead the conference in total assists with 1,090 and assists per set, averaging 12.5 this season.
- The Owls are led by sophomores Valeria Rosado, Katelynn Robine, and Klara Zarnovicka who have registered 3.31, 2.94, and 2.60 kills per set, respectively. Rosado's team-leading kills per set also ranks her sixth in Conference USA.
- Fellow sophomore and Owls' setter Noelle Stephens has dished out a team-leading 777 assists, averaging 8.93 per set, and has helped the Owls to a .223 attack percentage as a team this season.
- Senior Camryn Vogler anchors the Owls' backline, averaging 3.68 digs per set, while Rosado has tallied a team second-best 2.48 digs per set.
- Senior Lauryn Green and junior Alicia Hearn lead FAU at the net, posting 0.83 blocks per set each, with Green posting a team-best 67 total blocks this season.
- The Owls battled tough against C-USA leader and No. 22-ranked WKU but fell in straight sets on Friday evening at FAU Arena.
- Lauryn Green delivered a season-high two service aces
- Katelynn Robine collected a match-high 10 kills
- Camryn Vogler led the Owls in digs with 11
- Vanda Zimova produced four blocks in the contest
- The 49ers enter Sunday's contest 9-14 overall and 3-8 in conference play.
- Head coach Karen Weatherington is in her eighth year leading the 49ers and earned her 100th career win on Friday, colleting a 100-116 record throughout her time in Charlotte.
- The 49ers are led by Emani Foster and Amani McArthur on the attack. Foster, who is hitting a .261 clip on the season, ranks first in C-USA and paces the 49ers with 4.97 kills per set. She also just delivered her 1,000th career kill on Friday.
- Setter Annika Wetterstrom averages 7.11 assists per set and has directed the Charlotte offense to a .245 attacking percentage as a team this season.
- Defensively, the 49ers are led by libero Sophie Whalen, who leads the team with 3.15 digs per set. At the net, McArthur is leading the 49ers and ranks third in C-USA, registering 1.17 blocks per set, and fourth in total blocks with 91 on the season.
The Owls lead the all-time series against the 49ers, 15-6, including an 8-4 record for matches played in Boca Raton. FAU snapped a four-game Charlotte winning streak in the series between the two programs with a 3-2 win on Oct. 7, 2022, in Charlotte.
The Owls hit the road for their final game of the 2022 regular season on Saturday, Nov. 12 as they visit rival FIU for a 12 p.m. first serve inside Ocean Bank Convocation Center.
