FAU Concludes Cross Country Season
11/11/2022 3:48:00 PM | Men's Cross Country, Women's XC/Track & Field
Huntsville, Ala. – The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their 2022 season at the NCAA South Regionals on Friday morning. The women showcased improved timings in the 6K while the men braved through a season long 10K course.
Â
"We had a great (and very rainy) day in Huntsville! Every single one of our women's runners ran significantly faster today than two weeks ago. We're in the process of building our cross country/distance group into a force to be reckoned with. We're not where we want to be yet, but we're working hard and improving constantly. It's very exciting and rewarding to have our current team members on our squad. Congratulations to Casey for making our all-time list with the sixth fastest 6K time in school history!"
On the men's 10K
"Our three men who ran today competed with valor and left it all on the course. Matt and Bodey both set new 10K PRs and Chris ran himself into the FAU record books. GO OWLS!"
