Competitive Slate Focused On Rankings

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team climbed to its highest national ranking in 2021, No. 52, and has assembled a competitive 2021-22 schedule, which will allow both individuals and the team to build upon that ranking.

The Owls will play in four fall tournaments prior to the turn of the new year and will open 2022 with another, all in preparation for the 2022 dual match slate.

FAU returns 2021 All-C-USA selection Katerina Filip, and Martina Kudelova, a 2019 C-USA selection, as well as May Kimhi from the 2020-21 team. The Owls have welcomed five newcomers, led by redshirt freshman Amber McGinnis, who comes to FAU from the University of Florida, along with a quartet of true freshmen: Millie-Mae Matthews, Greta Schieroni, Lexi Silna and Carina Sommer.
