BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swimming and diving teams each collected Scholar All-America accolades for the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters, as announced by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America. The teams have earned above a 3.0 GPA consistently each semester, showcasing their excellence in the classroom.
On the women's side, the team boasted a 3.56 GPA. They had 22 members on the end-of-season roster earn above a 3.0 GPA for the spring semester.
Hannah Garner and
Alicia Mora were named to the President's and Dean's List for earning a 4.0 GPA and being in the top 3% of their college.
The men's team posted a 3.2 team GPA in the spring. The squad had 21 members receive over a 3.0 GPA this past semester, while
Jackson Kirk earned a spot on the President's and Dean's List.
CSCAA Scholar All-America team honors are awarded to the swimming and diving teams who earn better than a 3.0 GPA following each semester. The organization had 721 programs from 426 institutions earn the award. CSCAA will name its individual Scholar All-America team next week.
