BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball's Savannah Pesante and Maylin Bouffard crushed their competition at the FAU Sandy Owls Invitational, sweeping all four of their matchups, including Saturday's bouts with FGCU and Palm Beach Atlantic.
The 11th-ranked Owls (13-7) went 1-1 on Day Two of the FAU Sandy Owls Invitational, beating Palm Beach Atlantic 4-1 and falling 1-4 to FGCU, bringing them to 2-2 overall at the event. They played all four games without their Court One lineup of Erica Brok and Mackenzie Morris, and another key contributor in Kaila Dorish.
Pesante and Bouffard weren't alone in their dominance, as Courtney Moon and Abby Jackson swept three of their four matchups. Their contributions were timely, as this was FAU's final home event of the season.
