Brok, Morris Claim Awards Before CCSA Championship

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The CCSA bestowed two honors upon the Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team on Thursday, naming Erica Brok to its All-Academic team and the Brok/Mackenzie Morris pair to its All-Conference team.

Brok, a mathematics major from Ormond Beach, raised her GPA to a 3.84 this semester. On the court, she went 15-6 and reached 69 career wins this season, most among any player in program history.

Mackenzie Morris has had an equally impressive season, going 14-4 all on Court One and earning her 68^th career win, the second most in program history. The Jacksonville native has paired with Brok for all of those wins, giving them the most wins by a pair in program history and more than double the second-winningest pair's total of 31.

The CCSA All-Conference and All-Academic honors were each the third in program history. Brok and Morris earned national and conference acclaim earlier this season, winning the AVCA and CCSA Pair of the Week awards in late March after a 4-0 performance in the FAU Beach Bash in Paradise.

Brok and Morris hope to add to their win totals in the CCSA Championship in Huntsville, Alabama, which runs Friday through Sunday.
