AUSTIN, Texas – Davis Lamb led the Owls on Day One of the George Hannon Invitational, a three-round tournament at the University of Texas Golf Club. A second-round 70, FAU's lowest round of the day, saw Lamb tie for 24
th with one round to go.
As a team, FAU (586) is tied for ninth among a stacked 13-team field including No. 2 Oklahoma, No. 11 Oklahoma State, No. 12 Texas, No. 19 Texas Tech, No. 27 New Mexico, No. 31 Baylor, No. 46 TCU and No. 50 Little Rock.
Along with Lamb (144),
Alex Maguire (146) and
Max Sturdza (148) ranked within the top-50 individually.
Enrique Dimayuga (149) and
Sully Zagerman (153) are tied for 54
th and 64
th, respectively.
The third and final round of the George Hannon Invitational is on Tuesday. FAU will begin teeing off at 8:15 central, with live scoring available
