First Spring Practice Under Taggart Complete

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University's football head coach Willie Taggart has been at the helm of the Owls for more than a year, but the veteran coach notched a first at FAU on Monday with the first spring practice under his direction.
Unseasonably warm temperatures greeted the Owls Monday morning, but nothing changed the welcoming feeling for the January newcomers, or the gratitude for the opportunity to practice after missing the spring of 2020 due to COVID-19.
FAU welcomed more than a dozen newcomers and six new position coaches, but practice paces were managed smoothly, thanks to experienced leadership by the veteran players.
