BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball returns to action this weekend at the Stetson Spring Fling, a two-day tournament in DeLand, Florida. The No. 12-ranked Owls will test their skills against four top-15 foes.
"It has been 11 months since we have been able to play against other teams," FAU coach
Capri Grotowski said. "After coming off the best start in our team's history, I am not sure who is more excited to return - coaches or our athletes. We are lucky enough to have a lot of the team back and have added a few new players. This weekend will be strong and is filled with great teams. With our grateful culture and respectful confidence, I believe there are no limits. Go Sandy Owls!"
On Saturday, the Owls will battle No. 14 South Carolina at 8 a.m. and No. 11 Stetson at 2 p.m. FAU will play No. 15 TCU at 8 a.m. and No .13 FIU at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Live stats are available

This tournament is FAU's first since March 2020. The Owls went 11-1, including a streak of 10-straight wins, in 2020. That was the best start in program history.Â
The winningest pair in FAU history,
Erica Brok and
Mackenzie Morris, are back. UAB graduate transfer
Kenley Adams and four returning upperclassmen also look to make an impact for the Owls.
