BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team's homestand resumes Sunday afternoon, when the Owls host James Madison for a 2 p.m. tip at Abessinio Court inside FAU Arena.

Owls' Weekend in Review
The Owls (3-3) took two of their three contests during last weekend's Paradise Classic, defeating UT Martin and North Dakota, before coming up just short in an overtime loss to Troy. Sunday will mark the sixth of nine straight games on the team's home court, playing the 5-2 Dukes.

Through six games,
Michael Forrest is the sixth-leading scorer in Conference USA at 16.7 per game. He is also third in 3-pointers made per game (3.3), fifth in 3-point percentage (43.5%), eighth in free throw percentage (81.8%) and ties for 10th in field goal percentage (46.3%).
Vladislav Goldin leads the squad in rebounding at 6.5 per game, just ahead of
Alijah Martin's 6.0.
Everett Winchester averages 4.0 assists per contest, and
Bryan Greenlee is next at 3.8.
As a team, the Owls are third in C-USA with an average of 81.2 points a night, and are second in rebounds at 40.5 (just a tick below Marshall's 41.4). The team has a +7.83 rebounding margin, nearly double second-place UAB's +4.17, and garner over 80% of potential defensive rebounds (169 of 210), also best in the league.
James Madison has been in the Sunshine State for nearly a week, taking part in the Naples Invitational at the beginning of this past week, losing to Kent State, topping Wright State, and falling to Murray State. Vado Morse paces seven Dukes scoring eight points a night or higher, at 11.3 PPG.
Opponent History
The Owls are searching for their first win in the series against the Dukes, in what will be the fifth all-time meeting between the two programs. The last was this past January in Harrisonburg, Virginia, 79-70 in favor of JMU.
