– The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team (6-1-1, 1-0-1 in Conference USA) is back on the road to face South Carolina (3-6, 0-2 C-USA) this Sunday at 7 p.m. FAU is looking to stay undefeated in C-USA play in a big road test at Stone Stadium.

- FAU has tallied back-to-back 3-0 shutouts over Old Dominion and Jacksonville, both at home. The team is looking to carry that momentum back to C-USA play
- Filip Jauk leads the team with five goals for 10 points, which is tied for the league's most
- Luis Sailer Fidalgo leads the Owls with five assists, tied for the second most in the league
- Neil Strauber has started in all eight matches in goal to accumulate 739 minutes. He has started 20 straight matches in goal, while posting a 1.1 goals against average, 34 saves and three shutouts
- FAU is second in the C-USA standings with four points
- The Owls average 2.38 goals per game, while holding the opposition to 1.13 per game. FAU also outshoots opponents, 95-79
- FAU was projected to finish sixth out of nine teams in the C-USA Preseason Poll, as voted on by the league's head coaches
- Alonso Coello Camarero and Ivan Mykhailenko were tabbed to the 14-person C-USA Preseason Team
- The team has nine newcomers with 15 different countries being represented on the roster

- South Carolina has started the season 3-6, 0-2 in C-USA, and is coming off their first shutout win of the season off a 1-0 victory over Gardner-Webb last Tuesday
- The Gamecocks were chosen to finish seventh out of nine teams in the C-USA Preseason Poll
- Brian Banahan was selected to the 14-person C-USA Preseason Team
- Jordan Matthews leads the Gamecocks with two goals and one assist for five points
- Peter Clement and Logan Frost share the lead for a team's most assists with two apiece
- Tristan Himes and Ryan Bilchuck have split time in goal. Hilmes has started in all six matches he has appeared in, tallying a 2.15 goals against average, 21 saves and a 2-4 record. Bilchuck has started in three of four matches to post a 1.63 goals against average, six saves and a 1-2 mark
