BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 20th iteration of the annual Shula Bowl rivalry matchup, pitting Florida Atlantic University football against FIU, will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. It will not only be Shula Bowl XX, but also the 2021 Conference USA opener for each squad, and the Owls will put a 10-game winning streak on the line at FAU Stadium.
Of the top home win streaks in the nation, five stayed put with those teams either having a road game or bye week. One dropped off as well, with Memphis suffering a 31-28 home loss to a C-USA foe in UTSA last Saturday. That, coupled with Coastal Carolina's win, now sees the Chanticleers and Owls tied for eighth among this prestigious list:
