Owls' Midweek in Preview
Penn (3-4) played a four-game series against FIU last weekend, winning the first two and falling in the next two. The wins were 4-1 on Friday night and 16-1 in the first Saturday tilt; the Panthers took two one-run wins after (2-1 in seven innings Saturday and 6-5 Sunday). For Penn, that came after just three games prior, losing two of three to Kennesaw State. The Quakers were chosen as preseason Ivy League favorites after a 2019 season where they finished fourth in the league at 11-10, and 23-18 overall.
