BOCA RATON, Fla. – James Pierre and
Harrison Bryant represented themselves and Florida Atlantic University at the 2020 NFL Combine, held in Indianapolis. The duo were members of the 2017 and 2019 Conference USA Championship-winning football teams.

Pierre was one of nearly 60 defensive backs to participate on Sunday. Pierre completed his junior season as an Owl with 44 tackles, 4.5 for a loss of 12 yards and was part of an FAU defense that led the country in turnover margin. He contributed three interceptions. The Deerfield, Florida native tallied 120 career tackles, three interceptions and 18 passes defended.

On Sunday, Pierre ran a 4.59 40, had a 33.5 vertical, 123 broad jump, and a 7.02 in the three cone drill.

On Thursday, Bryant, a 2019 unanimous All-American selection and the John Mackey award recipient, was one of 20 tight ends invited to the combine and the Gray, Georgia native clocked a 4.73 in the 40. His vertical leap was 32.5, broad jump 110.0, cone 7.41 and his shuttle was clocked at 4.37.

The duo will have the option to participate in Florida Atlantic's "Pro Day" April 2, in preparation for the 2020 NFL Draft in Las Vegas April 23-25.
