BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic football hosts its 2026 home and American Conference opener on Saturday, facing off against Navy. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. on ESPNU and the call can also be heard on Fox Sports South Florida.
As FAU begins its fourth season of American play, the Owls (0-1) will face the Midshipmen (1-0) for the fourth time in program history and the second time on Howard Schnellenberger Field at Flagler Credit Union Stadium.

His top target was senior WR Kelby Valsin, who in his Owl debut, caught 10 passes for 92 yards and a touchdown. Valsin had the only double-digit reception game in the American.
Defensively, graduate LB Leon Hart Jr. picked up where he left off a year ago as the team's tackles leader recording a team high seven tackles. Graduate S Jayden Sweeney recorded six tackles, including one for a loss of 20 yards and hauled in the season's first interception.
