Owls Lose to Louisiana Tech, 81-68

RUSTON, La. - The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team had four players in double figures, but came up short against Louisiana Tech on Saturday, 81-68. The Owls are now 14-13 overall and 6-8 in Conference USA play.
The Bulldogs established control of the game from the outset, quickly taking a double-digit lead. However, a D.J. Robertson jumper capped an 8-2 FAU run, pulling the Owls to within six at 19-13.
LA Tech responded with another scoring outburst, extending its lead to as many as 22 in the first half. A Jailyn Ingram 3-pointer made the score 43-24 at the half.
The Owls kept battling in the second half and were able to hold LA Tech to just 18.2 percent from outside the arc, while making six of their 15 attempts from 3-point range after the break and held the Bulldogs to just one field goal in the game's final four minutes.

- Ingram scored 14 points and tied his career-high with 12 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. His 12 rebounds put him in seventh place in school history with 466 for his career
