BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University's softball team welcomed four members to the family during the National Signing period.
Two will lead the Owls in the circle, and the Ingram twins are the third set of twins to represent their families while playing for the Owls. The Ingrams follow the Lopez sisters (Jenna and Marline - 2004-07) and the Martinez sisters (Christina and Melissa - 2013-16).
"We are excited about the incoming class," said
Joan Joyce, FAU's head coach. "We are bringing in two pitchers, two of the best in the state of Florida and two infielders that will help strengthen our infield defense. Beside the twins, we will have another set of sisters on the team with Caryssa and Cameryn Orland building upon a true family atmosphere. These four players verbally committed to us during early, so we have had a chance to continually watch them grow as a people and as players. And, they have had a chance to follow our program as well."
