Football Completes Coaching Staff with Guidry

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Newly hired Florida Atlantic University head football coach Willie Taggart has completed his coaching staff by naming Lance Guidry as the Owls' safeties coach, as announced on Monday.
Guidry brings more than 25 years of coaching experience to the Owls and more specifically has served as a head coach, while twice leading programs to bowl wins as an interim head coach. He also rounds out the defensive side of the ball, which are all former defensive staff members of a Taggart-led program.

FAU began classes on Monday with the team starting their morning workouts for the first time under the direction of Taggart. The Owls' C-USA title defense has started, and the squad has made the move from the Tom Oxley Athletic Center, which has served as the Owls' only home since the program's inception in 2000, to the state-of-the-art Schmidt Family Complex for Academic and Athletics Excellence.
