Owls Conclude 2026 American Kickoff

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Florida Atlantic football concluded the two-day 2026 American Kickoff on Friday afternoon.
Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley as well as redshirt seniors, QB Caden Veltkamp and DL CJ Doggette Jr. were on hand for media sessions and photoshoots on Thursday before appearing on ESPN+ on Friday, participating in a roundtable with analysts along with an additional press conference from Coach Kittley.
The trio previewed the upcoming 2026 campaign, the Owls' fourth year as a member of the American and year two under Coach Kittley, currently the youngest head coach in FBS.
Fall camp will get underway next week before Florida Atlantic's season officially kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 5 at Florida.
