Burrowes Closes Out the Latin American Amateur Championship

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University golfer Justin Burrowes saved his best for last at the Latin American Amateur Championship in Mayakoba, Mexico.
In the final round of the 72-hole tournament, Burrowes scored an impressive two-over-par 73. Burrowes' best performance heading into the day came in Round 2, when he shot a four-over-par 75.
Burrowes birdied three shots – a personal-high at the LAAC – and parred 12 others Sunday. The 12 pars tied his second-round total.
He finished 41st out of the tournament's 108 participants.
On Feb. 21, Burrowes and FAU return to action at the Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, California
