BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team (2-3-0, 0-2-0) will host Florida Gulf Coast (3-3-1) on Wednesday for the lone match of the week for the Owls. First touch is set for 7 p.m. at FAU Soccer Stadium and admission is free.

Ivan Mykhailenko leads the Owls in points with five (2 goals, 1 assist).
Tom Abrahamsson,
Andres Macias, and
Blake Dean each have two points.
David Schwartzman and
Alex Alexis has one.

Hagay Jalon and
Daniel Ragoo have split time in-goal for the Owls this season. Jalon has played in three matches and has a 2.27 goals against average with 10 saves. Ragoo has also played in three matches, posting a 2.97 goals against average with 15 saves.

The Wildcats have wins against then-No. 13 Michigan, Seton Hall and Georgia Southern. They also tied then-No. 7 Michigan State earlier in the season.

Ryan Medilah leads the Eagles in points with seven (3 goals, 1 assist). Ivan Rosales and Shak Adams each have four points.

Gustavo Vasconcelos has played all seven games in-net for FGCU this season. He has a 1.80 goals against average and 30 total saves on the season.

So far this season, FAU has played three four opponents that are currently in the top 25 of the United Soccer Coaches poll with two more on the schedule. Those matches include Charlotte (No. 11), UCF (No. 12), FIU (No. 16), Louisville (No. 17), James Madison (No. 20) and Kentucky (No. 23).

The Owls will be back in action on Tuesday, October 1 at UCF. That match will be played a 6 p.m. FAU returns home to host Charlotte on October 5.
