- FAU won the coin toss and chose to start on offense
- After a nice kickoff return by Meiko Dotson, the Owls marched downfield for a quick nine-play drive to open the scoring. Robison found John Raine for a five-yard touchdown
- The Owls' defense forced a three-and-out on their first drive
- An exchange of possessions produced several defensive highlights, including two Tim Bonner tackles for loss and a Rashad Smith interception
- FAU capitalized on the turnover, as Robison and Antoine hooked up on a 37-yard touchdown pass to put the Owls up 14-0 just before the end of the first quarter
- Robison and Antoine connected on another scoring pass early in the second, this one from 17 yards out, giving FAU a 21-0 lead
- Robison and Antoine collaborated on yet another touchdown reception for the Owls' final score of the half and stretching the margin to 28-0

- The score didn't change again until Antoine snagged another touchdown pass from Robison late in the third quarter, as the Owls went up 35-7
- Nick Tronti saw his first action of the season and marched the FAU offense down the field, capping a 69-yard drive with a three-yard scamper to round out the scoring for the game
- Wagner answered with an extended drive of its own, but the Owls' defense turned away a 4th-and goal from the two
Stats and Records
- Robison ended the night with 379 passing yards, his second straight 300-yard game
- He completed 25-of-36 passes and became just the second player in school history to throw five touchdown passes, joining Rusty Smith, who accomplished the feat three times
- Antoine's four TD catches broke the previous school record of three, originally set by Cortez Gent against FIU on Nov. 29, 2008 and tied last week by John Mitchell
- Antoine became just the eighth player in Conference USA history to catch at least four TD passes in a game and the first since 2016. He finished with 11 receptions for 173 yards on the night
- Larry McCammon III had 48 rushing yards, once again leading the team
- Tronti rushed for 40 yards and a touchdown, in addition to completing both of his pass attempts for eight total yards
- Smith recorded a team-high 10 tackles, his second double-digit tackle game of the season, and picked off his first pass of the yearÂ
The Owls open Conference USA play next weekend, when they travel to Charlotte to face the 49ers on Saturday, Sept. 28. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. and the game will air on NFL Network.
