FAU Football Announces Updates to 2021 Schedule

Owls will travel to Florida in 2021

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University athletic department has made updates to the 2021 FAU football schedule which includes the addition of a game against Florida and the termination of the Central Michigan series.

The Owls will travel to Gainesville for a contest on Sept. 4, 2021. It will be the fourth trip to Gainesville for the Owls, with the last trip coming in 2015.

The Florida Atlantic and Central Michigan series was scheduled in 2015 and was to be a home-and-home series with games scheduled in 2019 and 2021. Prior to the termination the 2019 game was moved to 2024.

With the addition of the Florida game, FAU has moved the date of the Fordham game in 2021. FAU and Fordham were originally scheduled to play Sept. 4, 2021 in Boca Raton and that game has been moved back to Sept. 18, 2021 at FAU Stadium.
