Owls' Weekend in Preview
The Owls, 43-19-1 a year ago, placed third in Conference USA (19-8-1) and have been forecasted in that same slot this preseason by C-USA coaches. UC was 28-28 overall in 2018, and ironically were exactly .500 in league play as well, 12-12. That made for a sixth-place finish in the American Athletic Conference, and the Bearcats were voted eighth in the 2019 preseason coaches' poll.

The Owls won the first six, UC took the first of three in 2010 (5-3), and FAU has won the last five, including a sweep in 2013. All that makes for an 11-1 Owl advantage in the series.
