Jailyn Ingram Named Preseason All-Conference

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Junior forward Jailyn Ingram was named to the Preseason All-Conference USA squad on Thursday. As a team, the Owls were picked to finish ninth in the conference in a poll of the league's head coaches.

Ingram blossomed in his first year under new head coach Dusty May, averaging 18.9 points and 8.2 rebounds, both team highs, before suffering a season-ending injury in the Owls' 10th game of the season. He also recorded five double-doubles in those 10 games.

FAU hosts Lynn University for an exhibition on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m., before officially opening the regular season by hosting Flagler on Tuesday, Nov. 5. FAU men's basketball season tickets are now on sale and can be purchased here.
