BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University football (4-2, 2-0 Conference USA) practiced on Wednesday, but went through the paces that it would normally do on a Thursday in preparation for this week's game. The Owls are scheduled to play host to perennial Conference USA power Marshall (3-3, 1-1). The two teams will play on a non-traditional night, Friday, Oct. 18. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at FAU Stadium on Howard Schnellenberger Field.

The show also will be an opportunity to learn about guard Derek Lilliquist's service in the U.S. Marine Corps prior to coming to FAU. Plus, get to know defensive end Leighton McCarthy in this week's episode of "Pads Off" and a special segment on the 2019 FAU Athletics Hall of Fame induction. The eight person class included former Owl football players, Rusty Smith and Alfred Morris along with legendary Coach Howard Schnellenberger.
This week, the show will air on Fox Sports Florida on Thursday at 4 p.m. and will second airing will be Friday at 5:30 p.m.
