BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's cross country teams will continue the 2018 season at the Mountain Dew Invitational hosted by the University of Florida in Gainesville on Saturday morning.
The men start things off at 7:55 a.m. on Saturday and will be running an 8K. The women will follow at 8:30 a.m. with a 5K.
The teams participating in the meet are Florida, Florida State, Miami, FIU, UCF, South Florida, Jacksonville, Stetson, North Florida, Lynn, Nova Southeastern, Florida A&M, Palm Beach Atlantic, Brewton-Parker, Chipola College, Embry-Riddle, Flagler, Florida College, Florida Gateway College, Florida Tech, FSCJ, Pasco-Hernando State College, Saint Leo, Seminole State College, South Florida State College, Southeastern University, Tampa, Valdosta State and West Florida.
The women last competed in the UCF Alumni Invite, racing to a third place finish. The Owls won the FAU Cross Country Invitational to start the season.
The men haven't raced since the season-opening FAU Invite, where they earned third place and
Lachlan Shiver took first overall.
