Women's Basketball Travels to Little Rock

Game Notes

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team (0-2) will hit the road for the first time this season with a Wednesday night tilt at Little Rock (1-0). The game is set for a 7:30 p.m. (EST) tip.

For fans wanting to keep up with the game, it will be streamed online and live stats will be provided throughout. FAU also provides live audio play-by-play for every away game with Max Ziffer on the call. That can be accessed here.

LAST TIME OUT

The Owls faced off against Georgia State last Saturday at the Burrow. FAU took a two-point lead into the final quarter, but were outscored 22-4 to fall to the Panthers, 75-59
Abby Voss led the Owls with 12 points. She also had nine rebounds and a steal in 30 minutes of action
Myka Johnson Matthews added 10 points, four rebounds and two assists
The Owls were done in by a rough fourth quarter where FAU shot seven percent from the field

SERIES HISTORY

Saturday's matchup will be the 10th meeting between FAU and Little Rock
The Trojans have won all nine previous matchups
The first meeting between the two teams happened in 2007 and the most recent tilt came in 2013

SCOUTING LITTLE ROCK

The Trojans defeated Conference USA member Louisiana Tech to open the season
Kyra Collier led Little Rock with 31 points, a new career high for the junior
Ronjanae DeGray was tabbed the Preseason Player of the Year by Sun Belt coaches and the Trojans were picked the favorites to win the league
Last season, the Trojans turned around their season after starting 3-8 to go 17-1 in conference play, winning the Sun Belt regular season title and then the conference tournament to advance to the NCAA Tournament. Little Rock faced Florida State in the Big Dance
