BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team gets back to Conference USA play on Saturday night at Old Dominion. The Owls will take on the Monarchs at 7 p.m. in Norfolk at the ODU Soccer Complex.

The Owls (2-6-0, 1-1-0 C-USA) were on the road earlier this week at Georgia Southern. The Owls fell to the Eagles, 3-1.
Gonzalo Pena Barrasus notched his second goal of the season, leading the team in points and goals.
CATCHING UP WITH THE OWLS
FAU is in a three-way tie for fifth place in the C-USA standings with a 1-1-0 record so far in league play. Old Dominion, FIU and Kentucky lead the pack with nine league points. (Wins = 3 points, ties = 1 point, losses = 0 points).
Redshirt-junior goalkeeper
Hagay Jalon has started every match in-goal for the Owls this season. His 5.00 saves per game average is the 14th most nationally and his 40 total saves on the season is 35th in the country. Both of those marks lead C-USA. The Haifa, Israel native has registered two clean sheets this season which is the fifth most in the league. He has the fourth best save percentage in the conference (0.702) and he recorded the second most saves in a single-game by a C-USA keeper this season with eight stops against South Carolina.
Alonso Coello Camarero is the team's leading assist earner with three on the season. That marks is fifth in C-USA.
Gonzalo Pena Barrasus has the fourth best shot accuracy in the league (0.500).
ABOUT THE OPPONENT
Old Dominion (6-3-1, 3-1-0) is tied for first place in the C-USA standings with nine points. The Monarchs are coming off of a 3-2 win in overtime against William & Mary on Wednesday.
The Monarchs are led on offense by Max Wilschrey, who has 19 points this season on eight goals and three assists. Mertcan Akar has been the only keeper to see minutes for Old Dominion this season. He has a 1.46 goals against average and 0.605 save percentage.
