Men's Soccer Takes On UAB in 'Pink Out'

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Fans only have two more opportunities to catch the Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team in action at FAU Soccer Stadium. The Owls host UAB on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Saturday's match will be a 'Pink Out', serving as a Breast Cancer Awareness match. For tickets, call 1-866-FAU-OWLS or visit FAUSports.com.
The match will be streamed online and live stats will be provided throughout.
LAST TIME OUT
The Owls (2-7-0, 1-2-0 C-USA) were last on the pitch last Saturday at Old Dominion. Arturo Ernand scored his first goal of the season in the 4-1 setback to the Conference USA leading Monarchs.
ABOUT THE OPPONENT
UAB (4-6-2) will bring a two-match win streak to Saturday's match. The Blazers are coming off of wins against Appalachian State and New Mexico.
The Blazers are led in points by Deandre Robinson with three goals and two assists. James Teal has been the primary keeper for UAB this season. He has a 1.02 goals against average and a .714 save percentage.
UP NEXT FOR THE OWLS
After Saturday's match, the Owls will have only five regular season games left on the schedule. FAU will take on rival FIU next Friday in Miami at 7 p.m. The next home match for the Owls will be against Kentucky for Senior Day. That match is set for a 1 p.m. start time.
