Remi Chancerel Named C-USA Tennis Athlete of the Week

BOCA RATON, Fla. - For the third time this season, Florida Atlantic University junior Remi Chancerel has been named the Conference USA Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week.
Chancerel won his 11th consecutive singles match in FAU's battle at No. 38 Georgia State on Monday, capping off a 3-0 singles week for the Dax, France native. Chancerel also earned wins against Lipscomb and UAB and went 2-1 in doubles play with teammate Andrei Morin-Kougoucheff in No. 1 doubles. Chancerel is 18-2 in dual match singles matches and his 22 overall singles wins this year are the ninth most in program history. He has lead the Owls to a 17-5 regular-season mark, the third most wins in a year since the program's inception.
The Owls will travel to Murfreesboro, Tenn. to compete for the Conference USA Championship April 21-23.
