Owls to Face In-State Rivals FIU, UCF

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University softball team will conclude its seven-game homestand with a three-game series against FIU this weekend before hosting UCF for a single game on Wednesday, April 5. FIU currently holds a 6-0 record in Conference USA play and is 30-6 overall.
Last Week: FAU won its Conference USA series against Charlotte. The Owls (22-11, 5-1 C-USA) lost Saturday's opener before rallying to take the next two games and the series. Senior rightfielder Delaney Rickey hit .636 in the three-game set.
History: The Owls lead the all-time series with FIU, 52-31. FAU swept all three meetings with the Panthers last season. The Owls hold a 14-10 edge over UCF. However, the Knights beat FAU twice at last year's Gainesville Regional.
