Florida Atlantic University's softball team picked up another win at the FAU Strike Out Cancer Tournament on Saturday, by defeating St. Johns 3-0.

The two teams will be back in action on Sunday in the Strike Out Cancer Tournament, the Owls' second tournament of the year, featuring: Savannah State, St. Johns, Syracuse, Toledo, and Tulsa.

"Amanda Wilson did a great job tonight. She threw the right pitches at the right time to get out of difficult situations. We ended up keeping the game close and they were hitting the ball pretty good, but we made some unbelievable plays to close out the game."

Game 1 Highlights

Emily Lochten and Alex Miller went 1-for-2 and had an RBI single, each
Mia Olson and Samantha Lageyre scored a run
Amanda Wilson stranded seven base runners

Key Plays
In the first inning, Lochten scored via a bases loaded walk. In the bottom of the second inning, Lochten bunt singled allowing Olson to score another run. Delaney Rickey knocked in the third and final run of the game due to a sacrifice fly to center field.
