BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University's football team lined up on the practice field Saturday morning with the knowledge that there is just one week of practice remaining before classes begin, on Aug. 22, and to a player, the intent was to make the most out of the remaining time to work.
The first hour of practice focused on individual work and work within the units. The second hour was devoted to preseason camp's first scrimmage. The Owls' target play count was 60-70 plays. The coaches' will now have those plays on film to review and will have a day and a half of film study with the players before their next field practice, on Monday.

The Owls will use Sunday as a day of recovery and preparation for Monday's two-a-day practice. There will be approximately 20 minutes of media availability to conclude the second session on Monday. Head Coach Charlie Partridge will be available at the end of practice No. 2, or approximately 7:15. The first practice of the day is closed to the media.

The 2016 RED HOT MEET AND GREET will be Sunday, Aug. 21 from 2-4 p.m. at the Delray Hyundai Deck of FAU Stadium. The event is free and open to the public.
