FAU is ranked 18th in the nation by Collegiate Baseball and 20th in the USA Today Coaches Poll. The Owls are coming off of a 2-1 loss at No. 1 Florida on Tuesday in a game where FAU out-hit the Gators 5-4.
FAU took two of three at UAB last season, falling 6-0 before winning 18-4 and 5-2.
Junior Stephen Kerr was named the Conference USA Hitter of the Week after going .538 at Middle Tennessee with four runs, three RBI and an on-base percentage of .625. Kerr reached base to lead off each game.
