Tournament Results

Florida Atlantic University women's golf team concluded the Lady EagleCat Invitational in 5th place out of 14 teams. The Owls put up a two-round total of 646 (+62).

The tournament was held at the LPGA's Hills Course in Daytona Beach, Fla. The course is a par 73 with a yardage of 6,035.

Sophomore Tai Barber remained the Owls' top finisher falling six spots to tie for 17th with rounds of 79 and 81. Sophomore Kadi Pallastrone was right behind Barber, finishing in 18^th place with rounds of 81 and 80. Pallastrone carded one birdie on the day at the par three 12^th hole. Senior Christina Langer finished 36-holes with a total score of 165 (+19) and tied for 27^th. Langer was able to record two birdies, on the par four hole nine and par four hole 13.

Freshmen Emily Faulkner and junior Heather Netti rounded out the group coming in tied for 34th and tied for 40th, respectively. Faulkner had a two-day total of 167 with one birdie on the par four hole 10, while Netti ended with a total stroke count of 169. Netti shot two birdies on the day at the par five hole two and par four hole 10.

The Owls will make the trip to Sevierville, Tenn. to take part in the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate on March 20-21.
