BOCA RATON, Fla. -Florida Atlantic University men's tennis head coach Ricardo Gonzalez has announced the signing of three new faces to the program starting in 2017. Ignacio Garcia, Jason Legall and Marwan Abaza have each signed their NLIs to play tennis at FAU.
-Trains at Nick Bolletieri Tennis Academy/IMG in Bradenton
-Five-Star recruit, ranked Top 30 in the country
-Currently ranked No. 10 in the boys 18s in Florida
-Holds three National singles titles, four National doubles titles and seven ITF doubles titles
-Earned Silver Ball at National Clay Court Championship in 2016
-Reigning boy's Bobby Curtis State Closed Champion
Coach Gonzalez on Legall: "Jason has been on board since day one of this recruiting process and he has been class act with his loyalty to our program. We are lucky to have Jason on board with us and I am confident that he will continue to have great success during his time at FAU. He has proven himself to be successful in the big stages, including earning his first ATP point in a futures event by winning five consecutive matches."

-Winner of the ITF Tournament Copa Palmas del Caribe in singles and doubles in October
-Back-to-back Puerto Rico National Champion in junior and open divisions in 2015 and 2016
-Youngest National Champion in Puerto Rico history (16 years old)
-Member of the Puerto Rico Davis Cup team
Coach Gonzalez on Garcia: "I have been following Ignacio for many years, while we both come from the same country of Puerto Rico. Not only is Ignacio a great kid, but he is also a great tennis player and a very hard worker inside and outside the court. His discipline will help him be a successful student-athlete at FAU. Ignacio's Davis Cup experience has helped him perform in the big stages across the world and will help smooth his transition into college."
