BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University softball team will continue Conference USA play this weekend when the Owls host Middle Tennessee for a three game series.
The Owls (21-7-1, 2-1 C-USA) won their first conference series last weekend, taking two of three against Louisiana Tech. Senior first baseman Laura Mann went 5-for-8 with five RBI and two homeruns in the FAU victories. Middle Tennessee (11-10, 1-5) lost two of three games to FIU over the weekend. FAU swept last season's series against the Blue Raiders by a combined score of 18-3.
The series will consist of a doubleheader on Saturday, March 21 and a single game on Sunday, March 22. Saturday's first game will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday's game will start at 1:00 p.m. eastern. This weekend will also mark the season premiere of videostreaming for FAU softball. All 15 remaining home games will be streamed live on fausports.com.
