Women's Basketball Makes Texas Trip for Tourney Hopes

The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team goes on the road to take on North Texas and Rice in crucial Conference USA matchups. With two wins, the Owls would lock up a spot in the C-USA Tournament in Birmingham.
FAU (11-12, 5-7 C-USA) has lost three in a row, but led late in each of the last two contests. Junior Morgan Robinson tied her career-high twice in the last four games before breaking that mark with 19 points in Saturday's loss to Southern Miss.
North Texas (3-20, 2-10 C-USA) is 1-9 in its last ten games, with the lone win coming against Marshall in its last home game on Feb. 7. The Mean Green is coming off of back-to-back blowout losses at UAB (74-40) and Middle Tennessee (85-59).
Rice (7-16, 2-10 C-USA) has lost four in a row, dating back to Feb. 5. The Owls' last victory came at home in an overtime battle against North Texas on Feb. 1. Rice won that contest 58-55.
Tipoff at North Texas is at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, Feb. 19 and the matchup at Rice will take place on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. ET. Both games will feature live streaming audio on FAUSports.com.
