The Florida Atlantic University baseball team embarks on its seventh season under head coach John McCormack as the Owls take on the Huskies of the University of Connecticut in a three-game series. FAU returns nine starters and boasts 16 newcomers, including nine freshman on the 2015 roster. Junior Brendon Sanger and sophomore Stephen Kerr were each named to the Conference USA Preseason All-Conference team after pacing the Owls in batting average a year ago. Newcomer Robbie Coursel will get his first start on the mound for FAU after transferring from St. Petersburg College.
Series History: UConn won two of the three-game series in 2006, the only time the teams have met in program history.
