The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team lost its match 3-0 to Mercer on Sunday. This brings the Owls' record to 0-5-1 on the season.
Mercer scored early off a penalty kick in the 14th minute. Goalkeeper Theo Jamilloux had four saves on the day, three of which helped to keep the Bears to only one goal in the first half of the match.
Price led the team in shot attempts with four. Braxton Fuster and Austin Bartel each had two, all of which were saved by Mercer goalkeeper Greg Ranjitsingh.
For their overall performance in the Marriott Springhill Suites Invitational, Ryan Price and Patrick Darby were selected for the all-tournament team. Price had nine shot attempts on the weekend and completed a hat trick in the match against Georgia Southern on Friday night. Darby was a key part of the Owls' defense in both games.
Florida Atlantic will be back in Boca Raton to face Kentucky on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. A free live stream and live stats from the match will be available on FAUsports.com.
