Alfred Morris, FAU's all-time rushing leader, returned to campus April 20, 2013 to take part in the University's first Spring Fest. Morris, who took the NFL by storm in 2012 leading the Washington Redskins to a playoff berth by breaking NFL and Redskins rushing records, was a luncheon guest. He was also honored during halftime of the spring game where he received a photo thank you from President Mary Jane Saunders on behalf of the University and a key to Boca Raton from Deputy Mayor Susan Haynie.
