Softball To Travel to North Texas

BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic softball team will travel to Denton to face the University of North Texas this weekend.

The Owls (11-25, 1-6 Sun Belt) have not played since an 8-3 loss to South Alabama on March 25. FAU has not played a road game since a 2-0 defeat to FIU on March 21. North Texas (15-17-1, 6-5-1) won two out of three games last weekend against Western Kentucky, before tying the Hilltoppers in the final game of the series. Carly Speerin went 4-for-9 at the plate in the series.

FAU swept last season's series over the Mean Green in Boca Raton. FAU leads the all-time series 9-8. Friday's doubleheader begins at 5 p.m. eastern and both games will be live streamed for free here. Saturday's single game will start at 1 p.m. and live stats of all three games will be available at www.fausports.com.
