Women's Soccer Earns NSCAA Academic Honor

Boca Raton, FL - Members of the Florida Atlantic University women's soccer team have also been winners off the playing field, helping the program earn the prestigious College Team Academic Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
The College Team Academic Award is presented to teams that have a cumulative grade point average above 3.0. FAU had a 3.22 team cumulative GPA for the 2011-12 academic year.
This marks the second straight season that the Owls have earned the NSCAA award under Head Coach Brian Dooley.
FAU was one of seven Sun Belt Conference schools to receive the national academic award this season.
